See the World with Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines
Cruise Circle
Fred. Olsen is continually evolving its fleet to enhance guests’ experience, from introducing new dining concepts and upgrading décor to creating new onboard spaces and inspiring shore-based itineraries. Let’s take a closer look at what the popular British cruise line has in store in 2026.

Inclusive pricing
Fred. Olsen has listened to their guests and made their pricing simpler, clearer and more inclusive – ensuring even more is now included within their cruise fares. Alongside full-board dining, entertainment, and enrichment talks, guests can now enjoy complimentary guided walks ashore, shuttle buses to ports more than a mile from the ship, access to the fitness centre, and classes. Port taxes, fees and tips are also included. And the best bit? Their new itineraries will now include house beer, wine and draught soft drinks with lunch and dinner – so you can unwind knowing everything is taken care of.
Exclusively for adults
Borealis has officially crossed over to adult-only cruising in 2026, offering a warm, inviting space for couples, friends, and solo travellers to enjoy meaningful exploration at a leisurely, carefree pace. Featuring a wide choice of welcoming lounges and bars, elegant restaurants, expansive open decks and 702 comfortable cabins and suites, you’ll also find the luxurious Atlantis Spa, newly refurbished Thermal Suite & more.

Venue debuts & delicious new menus
Dining is an important part of any cruise, and there's always plenty of variety for guests to enjoy when sailing with Fred. Olsen. Here's a taste of the new highlights for 2026.
Colours & Tastes
Popular with all passengers, the Colours & Tastes restaurant is evolving in 2026. Guests will have the chance to experience different cuisines throughout their cruise, courtesy of three rotating menus serving Italian favourites, surf and turf and bold Asian fusion.

The Chef’s Table
Taking place in a private area of the Colours & Tastes restaurant, The Chef’s Table experience offers a bespoke, multi-course dinner crafted by Fred. Olsen’s expert chefs, paired with premium wines selected by their sommeliers. Available on select 2026 sailings.

Introducing Fresco
This brand-new, open-air venue debuts on board Borealis this year. Inspired by the vibrant flavours of the Mediterranean, Fresco will serve a tempting selection of light bites, and is the perfect place to enjoy laidback snacks in the sunshine or relaxed evenings under the stars.
Entertainment enhancements
Guests sailing aboard Bolette, Borealis and Balmoral will be among the first to experience a refreshed and dynamic entertainment programme, which will launch fully in September 2026. Featuring a mix of production shows spanning musical theatre, Latin, rock, pop, disco, country and more, complemented by engaging themed events, game shows, light entertainment and food & beverage experiences.

A little more about Fred. Olsen - (in case you're not familiar)
A firm favourite amongst British travellers, Fred. Olsen’s mix of onboard comforts, intimate ships and age-old cruise traditions strikes a chord with fans of set dining times, formal nights, onboard lectures and captain’s cocktail parties. Their fleet is smaller by design, carrying fewer passengers and boasting some of the best guest-to-space ratios at sea.
They are the perfect choice for first-timers too, with plenty of shorter-duration cruises from a variety of departure ports around the UK. They are so confident that you will enjoy sailing with them that if, within 48 hours, you decide it's not for you, they'll fly you home at their expense.
